Meet Amiziah… 

Amiziah Vaughn is an architectural designer currently based in Los Angeles, California. With a strong dedication to environmental sustainability and affordable housing, she focuses on creating spaces that are not only functional and beautiful, but also considerate of the larger societal context. Amiziah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Barnard College of Columbia University in 2023, and is currently working to pursue professional licensure.

Since completing her degree, she has been contributing her skills to Southern California Architecture & Design Firms for over two years. During her professional career, Amiziah has significantly enhanced her drafting and presentation abilities and gained comprehensive experience across all phases of the design process—ranging from conceptual proposals to bid set construction drawings and permitting submittal. 

Her commitment to experience-centered design informs her approach, prioritizing the needs and experiences of the communities she serves. With her education and hands-on experience, Amiziah is well-prepared to make meaningful contributions to the field of architecture, helping to realize projects that marry aesthetics with practicality and sustainability.
